Re: Giving up on POP3 Connector

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

I have no pop issues here... you ran the connect to internet wizard yes?

well, i am about ready to throw in the towel...i am doing so many jobs
around here i don't have the time nor stomach filled with worry acid
over this issue...unless someone can convince me otherwise, i wan't to
switch the 15 people here back to just checking their mail using their
own Outlook / POP 3 accounts instead of the POP3 Connector...i'm
getting errors about undelivered e-mails, it isn't checking for hours
(i came in this morning and checked my mail on the Outlook/Exchange
computer i have and then did a send/revieve from my laptop that is not
on the network but just checking normally and it received about 15
messages the server hadn't received...this was after about 15 hours of
not checking)...

if nobody can convince me, is there someone willing to let me know the
absolute most painless way of transitioning things back to the user
and disabling exchange? I mostly had it on the server to help with
backups and to have Symantec Antivirus check it before hitting the
user (but that is making me worry since having it check on the server
can corrupt files and screw things up so you have to stop it from
scanning folders, blah blah blah...i'm sick of dealing with it)...
