Re: Logon/Logoff events

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Actually this is normal. SBS 2003 will do success/failures on logins

Are they all successes?

I'm running SBS 2003 and in my security event file I'm getting well over 100 Logon/Logoff (event 538 and 540) and Account Logon (680) events every 5 minutes.

It seems to involve nearly all of the users and computers on the network.
I presume this is not normal. What can be the cause of this.

Thanks
Fred
