Hello Anze,

Thank you for your update.

As you mentioned, the every vssadmin list writer was OK after you restarted
the Volume shadow service. Please help me check if the issue can be
re-produced.

In reference to your question: What LeakTrack variable means? Based on my
research, the LeakTrack register is used for memory leak track
troubleshooting. If you have any concerns with the register key, you may
feedback to CSS support. Thanks for your understanding.

To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;PHONENUMBERS

If you are outside the US please see http://support.microsoft.com for
regional support phone numbers.

If the issue persists, please try to perform the steps in my previous post.
Based on my research, I found some similar issues be resolved by doing that
steps. I appreciate your taking the time to perform the tests.

If the issue still persists, please help me collect more information for
further troubleshooting:

1. Please locate the NTBackup log from %System Drive%\Documents and
Settings\SBS Backup User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows
NT\Backup\data fold, and check whether there are any error messages noted
on this issue, then paste the full context in your reply.

2. Please locate the Errorlog.txt and Eventlog.txt from the ..\Program
Files\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small Business Server 2003\Logs folder,
and check whether there are any error messages noted on this issue, then
paste the full context in your reply.

To get additional information, you may refer to the following KB article:

887827 A Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) update-2 package is available
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;887827

I'm looking forward to your update. If you have any questions or concerns,
please do not hesitate to let me know. I am always happy to be of further
assistance.

Best regards,
