As a test if you reset your boss's password to whatever it was originally
does it all work correctly?
If it does then I suspect you have conflicting Local and Domain
permissions/Authentication.
If Boss also has a local user account on the PC
When he changed the password did he change the local password or the Domain
password
Sounds like you are working in a workgroup mode within a domain.
Would be best if domain now functional to add computers correctly to the
domain and not run this workgroup mode at all
