Hi Fieldy,
You are making a big mess of this. The server's internal nic should be
static not dynamic.
IP: 172.16.1.37
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
GW: blank
DNS: 172.168.1.37
WINS: 172.168.1.37
External nic:
If you have a dynamic IP, you should rather be using a router between the
external nic and your modem. If static, ask your ISP for the IP, subnetmask
and gateway that you should be using.
DNS should however point to 172.168.1.37
