Hi Dieter,
Thanks for your reply.
>From your information, I found that "Users Excluded : BSD\Oper" is set in
Protocol Rules in TELSERV_ISAInfo.txt. You have configured the Protocol
Rules to block the BSD\Oper group to pass any protocols. When a user
accesses internet through ISA, it will check the Protocol Rules firstly and
then check Site and Content Rules. So the user 10.10.10.11 can not access
the allowed web site. You may get rid of the Exclude in Protocol Rules as
following:
1. Expand Servers and Arrays | Server name | Access Policy.
2. Click Protocol Rules and then click Configure a Protocol Rule.
3. In Applies To tab, delete the Exceptions of BSD\Oper group.
Hope the information help and I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hi Crina,
|
| I did my homework and I sure hope you can make sense of it all.
|
| User 10.10.10.16 belongs to group A and he can surf the net as he should.
| User 10.10.10.11 belongs to group B and when trying to connect to the only
| website he is allowed to (193.79.18.115) he is asked for a username and a
| password to connect to the server Telserv.
|
| I hope you have all the info you need. Let me know if I forgot something.
|
| Thanks in advance
| Dieter Visser
