Re: Outlook offline & can't validate exchange user after SBS SP1 U

I unistalled the Linksys NIC card on the server since I was not using it.
See below for new ipconfig:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ipconfig /all

Windows IP Configuration

Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : sbserver
Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : sbserver.local
Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Hybrid
IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : Yes
WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
DNS Suffix Search List. . . . . . : sbserver.local

Ethernet adapter Server Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-C0-9F-2A-F7-BD
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2
Primary WINS Server . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2

I tried to make changes suggested but as you can see I am novice on windows
communications. I still cannot add/verify my Microsoft Exchange user
account. I get dialog box that says Outlook cannot log on because connection
to server is offline. As stated earlier, all Microsoft Exchange services are
active except Site Replication, Exchange Event, and Connector for POP3
Mailboxes. What could be blocking the exchange connection. I can access the
server from my XP PC. Any suggestions. Thanks.
