I'm not talking about your internal DNS settings, but your domain
(www.whatever.com) DNS settings.

If you can recieve inbound mail sent from a telnet client, I'd be wondering
if your mail just isn't ending up at your server at all.

Have you checked your SMTP logs to see if mail is even coming in?

As for installing SBS SP1, it depends on what the problem is. It's possible
that you do have a problem that SP1 will fix, or you might go through all
the trouble, and find out it's still there. Without knowing the nature of
your problem, it's hard to suggest a course of action.

Check your domain DNS settings, and have you installed Exchange SP1?
