I don't think you really mean UPnP, do you?
And by "add shares", what do you mean? Do you mean you can manually specify
them even when you can't browse, by going to \\servername\sysvol, etc)
Is NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled in your local computer's network settings?
Browsing requires this. Also, are you using WINS?
