Hi Benjamin,
I run SBS 2003 Premium at home. Decided to set up a dedicated box as a Media
Storage Server...MP3s, MPEGS, DVD ISOs etc. along with Exchange, ISA, file &
print sharing. Eventually I'll probably add a dual Hauppauge TV tuner card
and run SageTV server on this box. I've already tested the combination on a
test server & it worked Great! Cool Stuff!

My server is a repackaged HP E60 which I got from work. Repackaged in a
different case for additional Hard Drive bays.
-Dual Pentium 600 MHz processors
-1 GB ECC Memory
-1x36GB 15K rpm SCSI Seagate Cheetah Hard Drive for operating system
-3Ware 9500S-8 SATA Raid Controller
-3Ware Hot Swap 4 Bay Drive Enclosure
-4x200GB 7200 rpm Seagate Barracuda SATA Drives in RAID 5
-1 GB Intel Pro Network Interface Adapter
-1 100mb embedded Network Interface Adapter
-1 10mb 10base2 Thin Coax Network Interface Adapter
-HP External SureStore DDS3 5 Tape Changer / Loader Library for everyday
data backup
My main workstation next to my recliner doubles as a Home Theater PC (HTPC)
which drives my TV and Front Projector. Nothing like having a 100" screen
for watching DVDs & HDTV in your living room!!! It's really AWESOME!!!
Being in IT helped getting some of the equipment and software. Junk in
today's enterprise world, but still useable at home. Plus Microsoft has
software give-aways when attending their seminars and rollouts.
Hope this helps,
RK
