Re: Mail Default User Address

Here's how it works and if I'm wrong I'm sure Frank will chime in. If a
person has more than one SMTP address then whatever his primay is that will
be the name assigned to all outgoing emails regradless what alias was used
to send. Say for example you have a user we'll call Bill Smith. His primary
email address is billsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx but he has two other alias's
called bill@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and billyboy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I send an email to
billyboy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and he replies. When I receive it it will show as
being sent from billsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Any email he creates will always
show billsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx In other words I don't believe you can have
multiple "send As" features in one account unless you constantly change the
primary. I think your only option it to create different accounts and have
them all available in one Outlook session. Certainly would be a lot easier
to manage and keep track of. You wouldn't want to make a mistake and send an
email out that was meant to be replied by another alias. Might blow his
identity.
