Re: SBS 2003 SP1 Remote Installation

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

Thank you for the post.

Actually, we can not install the SBS SP1 from remote, since during the
installation, the RPC service may be stopped, while that happening, you
will not be able to control the server remote to perform any operation.

Also, after you installed the last section of SBS SP1 ---- service packs
for small business server, we need to re-run the CEICW, that will also
discontent the network.

Moreover, as you have already known, it is no possible to install the ISA
2004 remotely.

So, you need to the install SBS SP1 locally. Hope those information can do
help.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to let me know. I am glad
to be of assistance.
