Hi Tom,
Thanks for your post and I'm glad to hear that the problem was resolved by
restoring the files.
Meanwhile, I still want to provide the general troubleshooting method for
this kind issue for your reference:
1. Check if the file shrptflt.dll exists in the said location. (By default,
it is c:\inetpub\sbsflt\)
2. Please check the security of Inetpub, the permission should be:
Administrators and System account should have full control
Users have Read&Excute/List Folder Contents/Read permission.
Interactive and NETWORK should have List Folder Contents permission.
a. Right click Inetpub folder to open the properties
b. Click Advance button on Security tab.
c. Check "Replace permission entries on all child objects with." to replace
the permissions to the child objects.
3. Copy the file shrptflt.dll from another working machine to substitute
the original one to avoid the issue caused by the corrupt file.
4. Open IIS management, right click on the default web site, select
properties, on the ISAPI filters tab, select SBSFLT filter, click edit,
check the path is correct.
Do it again for the companyweb site.
As always, please do post back here again if anything we can still be help.
Best regards,
Jerry Zhao (MSFT)
