Sp1 and Eval SBS 2003 Unable to Install

We updated our production SBS systems to SP1 with no significant problems
(note they are pretty much out of the box systems as far as SW).
But then went to update our test esteem using an official MS SBS 2003
Premium Evaluation kit just recently purchased.
It took 2003 Server SP1 (the first step), but I could not install SBS
2003 SP1 (4th step I think)
First we go through lass than 25% of the install and it said 'The Computer
is running an evaluation Version of Small Business Server"
we click ok to this and then it says 'You must be a member of "domain
Admins, Schema Admins and Enterprise Admins", which we are , we are using
the builtin administrator account.
Then it says a"An error has occurred, correct and retry" refers me to the
setup log \\as26azb4-sbs\d$\Program Files\Microsoft Integration\Windows
Small Business Server 2003\Logs\setup.log But that file is unchanged since
we installed SBS, several weeks ago.
Then it says we have successfully installed SP1. Even the event log say
Service Pack 885918 was installed. Also examining %systemroot%\KB885918.log
also indicates successful completion..
Anybody seen this? can we update the evaluation platform with SBS SP1?
