you appear to be using the same subnet for both NICs. XXX.9/24 internally
and XXX.45/24 externally. This is not correct.
Also, I suspect you have both NICs plugged into the Netopia which you are
also using as your LAN switch. This is less than optimal.
Let SBS do DHCP for the clients.
What you want:
Netopia public IP
XXX.254/24
|
|
SBS External XXX.9/24
SBS Internal XXY.whatever/24
|
|
Switch
|
|
SBS clients, XXY.x/24 via DHCP from SBS
make the physical changes, run the 'Change Server IP' wiz to put the
internal NIC into a different subnet and you should be up.
