1GB plus Memory and the /3GB switch

started yesterday. SBS 2003 Premium

I have 2 gigs of memory in the machine.

Commit Charge total 2171368
Limit 3643196
Peak 2186700

Started getting Memory allocation errors and virtal memory warnings.

Has been running fine for months.

Have read about adding the /3GB switch...but when reading article 823440

"you do not have to use the /3GB switch on MS SBS 2003 based computers" ???

"Not recommended with Active Directory domain controllers" ??????

Can someone clarify this for me ASAP.

Just started using OWA...could that be the issue??via vpn connections.

I am gonna reboot...take it from there.
