I'd go for the Cisco rebate too. I've had good luck with HP and Dell as well.
I agree though - linksys gear should mostly be used in a very small
environment or home use. I've had several problems with them in the past with
them just locking up needing a reboot. I did replace one router with a
SonicWall that hasn't locked up in 2 years. I know you're not asking about
routers but I think the same holds true for their switches. I will say that
I'm personally running one of their higher-end switches with no problems. I
also don't like their support - they are all from India and ask the same
questions over and over. Either on the phone or a live chat.
