Re: How to share folder on internet securely?

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Thanks for your suggestions (VPN or RWW) but I'm thinking that a SharePoint
site is more of what I was thinking about. I'm trying to set that up now &
will probably post some questions about it.

I don't think I was specific enough in my original question.

My problem with your 1st suggestion (VPN Connection) is that it seems too
much trouble for the outside client to create the VPN Connection on his PC
and then to browse (or create a shortcut) to the one share that he will have
access to.

The problem with your 2nd suggestion (RWW) is that (as I understand) for the
client to get to that one share that he will have access to he will need to
choose Remote Desktop Connection to a local client PC. And that doesn't
seem practical because the outside client isn't an employee & can't have a
computer set up here.
