Hi Gary,
Thanks for using this newsgroup.
According to your description, I understand that you could not get your IE
cookies work when you import them to the client computer which joined the
domain.
As we know it is a pure client issue, not related with the SBS server.
However we can offer you the detailed steps to configure this. Generally
speaking, you can import the IE cookies to the domain client. The cookies
for the domain user are located in the C:\Documents and
Settings\<UserName>\Cookies. Make sure that you have imported the cookies
to the right folder. As your convenience, I would like to give you detailed
steps to copy the profiles from the original place to a new place:
1. Join a client computer into the new SBS 2003 domain.
2. Log on the computer using the account created in the new SBS 2003
domain. A new folder will be created in the C:\Document and Settings folder.
3. Log off and log on the computer using its built-in Administrator
account.
4. Go to Control Panel, double click the System icon and choose
advance tab, then select setting in User Profiles section.
5. Select the original user profile and click the Copy to button.
6. Click the Browse button.
7. Browse to the C:\Documents and Settings folder, and click the user
name folder which is newly created when you log on with the new user
account.
8. Click the Change button, select Permitted to use, then specify the
new account.
