RE: Forward to an Internal - SBS2003 STD

Hi Simon,

Thank you for posting SBS newsgroup.

You may configure RRAS basic firewall to forward the traffic on port xxxx
to an internal machine as following:

1. Click Start->Run, type "rrasmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and click OK.
2. Expand to ServerName\IP Routing\NAT/Basic Firewall.
3. In the right pane, right click "Network Connection" (the external
connection) and choose Properties.
4. Click the "Services and Ports" tab and Click Add.
5. Type the name of service (without the quotes) or anything else as the
"Description of the Service".
6. Choose the protocol.
7. Type the port as the "Incoming port".
8. Type the IP address of the internal machine as the "Private address".
9. Click OK twice.
10. Right click on the server name and choose All Tasks->Restart.

I hope the above information helps

Best regards,

Crina Li (MSFT)
