HI Paul,
Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup.
According to your description, I understand that you encountered problem to
logon to the SBS domain with the wireless AP. If I am off base, please let
me know.
In order to isolate the issue, please help gather the information below:
1. Does the issue exist to all the client computers or only to some client
computers?
2. Is IEEE 802.1x enabled for the wireless connection?
3. Please check if all your client computers applied the latest updates,
for example if you have the Windows XP running on the client make sure that
the SP2 have been applied.
4. Please also paste the detailed error messages in event view to the
newsgroup.
5. What's the EAP type is used in your wireless network? PEAP, MD5 or
Certificates/Smart Card? If there is any authentication mechanism enabled,
please disable them. Let the wireless run in non-encrypted mode. Will the
problem be reproduced?
6. Is there any third-party NIC management utility installed on the
workstation.
7. Please also check if you logon the SBS 2003 via wired network does the
issue exist?
8. Please also contact with your hardware vendor of the wireless AP to see
if there are some updates for the firmware.
