This is not uncommon though. Right now I can point to two "installers" who
have told the customer they know what they are doing yet one of them has
sold them on using WinXP Pro as a server (using a Celeron no less) with 11
users (how's that gonna work!) while the other guy took over my job when I
left this idiot of a boss and he can't figure out why the Pop connector is
putting all the incoming email in the System folder. A third who signs his
email as "Network Support" connected a Dlink router to a DSL modem and the
lan side to the PC but then connected the USB cable to the modem and
installed the dang PPOE software from Bellsouth and wondered why the router
wasn't working.

I think we have all seen out share of idiots who have built a PC or two and
just because they know how to run a Quake server think they are Admins. In
fact there's a great new Blog, Admin Idiot Stories....
