Hello, I have been reading numerous posts on rww not working, and I have been
trying the suggestions given and am not having any luck.
Users can log onto the RWW system but when they select a workstation to work
on, they get the following message:
Connectivity to the remote computer could not be established. Ensure the
remote computer is on and connected to the Windows Small Business Server
network.
-for testing purposes, I am accessing the rww system from within the network
(just so the internet router is out of the equation).
-The workstations are setup to allow remote connections ( I can manually
connect to them via mstsc.exe )
-permissions are setup so users can access the rww site. currently, I am
looking to just connecti via admin user.
-I have tried the following without any luck:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;886209
Prior to the weekend, the system was working. I come in after the weekend
and the system is no longer working. Now, it is likely that somebody has
tamperred with the RWW setup and broke it. If this is the case, would it be
easier just to re-install sbs2003 than to try and fix RWW manually? Is there
a way to re-install the RWW system without re-installing 2003 completely?
thanks for the help
Angelo
