Hi Manny,
Please pin down the installer on exactly why they preferred that the server
not be installed as a Domain Controller. Also ask them how many SBS
installs they have done and how many they currently support. From this
information, you can then decide if you should allow them to complete the
SBS install.
The problem is that if they haven't installed SBS a few times and don't
routinely support it, they may botch the installation which might leave you
with an SBS server with a number of issues.
