First off good luck getting PPTP to ever pass thru a Linksys router using
Linksys firmware. I've not had one model work using their firmware and have
had to load thrid party firmware each time.

My preferred setup:

ISP<--><DSL/RR modem><--><cheap router>--<SBS Wan side NIC>--<SBS
Firewall>--<SBS Lan side NIC>--<LAN>

I pass only the ports I want open from the router to SBS thus SBS never even
gets a chance to hear all the other crap coming in from people plugging
their Win98 boxes directly into their RR modem and blasting Windows file and
Printer sharing calls (ok I'm ranting, back to the subject), I then setup
SBS Firewall for what I'm going to allow or not allow including VPN if
needed but we rarely use VPN anymore with RPC and OWA/OMA.
