Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

It worked just fine; had to edit the registry for a a couple software
programs, but other than that; it worked just fine. We werent running

the
server in DNS by editing the Host record; worked like a champ.

You've still not explained how you renamed the server. There is *no* native method for successfully renaming a fully installed and configured SBS server. Seriously. I would be extremely concerned that something is going to not work further down the line, and you're not in a position to be able to get help from MS.

The only issue now is the just http://companyweb. I want to think its a registry entry but also a SQL entry as well; not sure. Any thoughts?

"Companyweb" is just a DNS record.
