I understand that permissions can be set for the entire Calendar, but would
like to know if there is a permission setting at Event level, where only the
creator or administrator can delete the individual Event.
One user was entering and maintaining occurences and logs for particular
events, sharing these with another user. The reading user reads the entries
and takes appropiate action, can add notes to the entry, but someone else
came along and decided that it wasn't necessary to maintain expired events
and deleted almost 6 months worth of events. The creator was devestated
because she needs the entries for research, status and reporting purposes.
The reader is now informed not to delete the entries, but in today's world of
high employee turnover, lower wages, lower moral and higher productivity
expectations and stress levels it will end up happening again. I need to
prevent this from happening.
