Re: GPO Problem with new SBS 2003 installation

Thanks Lee,
1. The Firewall Policy exists in the sysvol folder and the GPT.INI file is
there and looks the same as another server. In addition, I compared the
policy to another server and it's identical.
2. How do I do this?
3. The problem started during initial configuration of the server. I believe
it began when I installed the customer's line of business software DVM
Manager (a vet practice software application), but I can't be absolutely
sure. I asked the vendor if the software made any changes to GPO or WMI and
they said it doesn't, but I'm not sure the person I talked to would know for
sure.
4. The server is virus free.
Is there a way to investigate the WMI aspect? As soon as I get time, I'm
going to setup a server in a similar configuration and load a copy of the
software as a test and see if I get the same results. I'm not sure when I'll
have time for that, though.
