It was most likely a combination of changing the permissions and restarting
IIS that got you past owaauth.dll not loading.
For the 440 Login Timeout, try this:
1. Locate this log file and do not open it yet:
C:\windows\system32\logfiles\w3svc1\ex050504.log (Note:
ex<todaysdate>.log).
2. Access OWA, producing the 440 Login Timeout error.
3. Open the log file from step 1 and scroll to the bottom. Copy and paste
the last few lines into your reply.
Then, in IE...
4. Click Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
5. Under 'Browsing', click the checkbox for 'Show friendly HTTP error
messages' to change it to the opposite of what it was set to.
6. Click OK out. Try to access OWA again and see if the error changes and
post it in your reply.
