Tonton,
I had the same problem. The problem is based on DNS and a timeout by
receiving email via pop3. Just write the IP address and DNS Name of your
ISP's mail server in the host file of your SBS2003 and your problem is
solved. I did it and haven't anymore error messages in my log file.
