Dave, thank you getting back to me.

The server is VERY secure, but even if it were not, pushing the power switch
would cause the server to shut down the o/s first (good Compaq
configuration). Beside, Compaq servers have in/out push buttons, and the
buttons is always in.

I thought of the APC, and have disconnecting tonight.

Overheating - the server room is a bit warm, but the power supplies never
reach above 86'F (again Compaq has software that tells me so), which I know
is a bit warm, so I have a BIG TURBO fan running directly in front of server
while new A/C unit is being installed). Compaq also log that into the event
log which is not the case.

The only thing added was a new internal raid card (which is attatched to the
external storage unit) , but the problem was present before and after this
card was installed.
