This looks like the same problem that I have been having that led to my post
on 5/3/05- iI didn't put in the problem about the group policy - or the 1065
and 1030 errors that I was having because I didn't think it was related but I
had the same thing going on which I solved (temporarily) today by unenforcing
the Internet Connection Firewall Policy, which in reality, after checking
through it I realized that nothing was set up in this policy- but I still
have the wmi errors. My posts' subject name is dcom prob connected to wmi
prob -..... I don't mean to cut in on anyone else's post but the problems
seemed so much the same...
the NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE is the user that is having the problem with
the wmi server- the event error message is included in my post- I am
wondering if thie cause of the wmi problem could be that the Network Service
and Local service System accounts are not in the local admins group? Do you
htink that this may be the cause of my wmi problems as well?
