Odd that no one answered your real question, hard drive size. With 35 user,
I would go SCSI and a split backplane as Henry suggested would be ideal.
If you can split the backplane then I would purchase this:
2 - 36GB for the OS (RAID 1)
4 - 72GB for the Data (RAID 5)
That's going to give you 200GB of user space to work with. You never really
spoke about what kind of files your environment will be using. If you were a
graphic design company and always working on big graphic files, then I would
go with 146GB drives for data, giving you twice as much space.
As far as Exchange, the 16GB limit is still there. It would be great if MS
would increase that limit but it has been that way since Exchange
4.0...almost 10yrs...wake up Microsoft!
