Re: RWW using a Verizon Wireless Card

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Wonder if it's something MTU related..... Handy Andy says the AT&T air cards work just fine.

Hmmm.. that's interesting.. wonder why it's doing that. Let me ask because I was wondering about those aircards.

Jeff,

I have experienced the same problem with my customers that use the Verizon card and RWW. The only solution that I came up with was to upgrade the user account to a mobile account. Then setup a VPN connection into the office. I then created a RDC short cut their PC at the office. There is an option within the Verizon software for VPN connection. It makes it a little easier for the customer to connect.

I have just purchased a Verizon wireless Card (broadband). When I log into
RWW I can get into the first screen and see the list of client computers
but
when I log into my client computer (or any other - I'm an administrator)
it
times out.

When I work at home on my dsl wireless I have no problems at all.

Do I have to change a setting?

Jeff
