Found a new solution. I had the same issue with the networking component failing. I followed all the posts to no avail....
Did you change your local ip manually as I had...
Go to the Change Ip Address tool in server management console and change it...I used the same Ip I had manually changed it too and sure as s#$@ it worked and solved the problem. Regards,
Error when using the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard to
configure Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) gateway devices
You may encounter an error if you use the options on the Firewall
Configuration page of the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard to
configure a UPnP gateway device.
To try to resolve this issue, go to the Web site of the device manufacturer
to download and install the latest firmware update. To download and install
the latest firmware upgrade for Microsoft base stations, visit the Microsoft
Broadband Networking Web site
(http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=18588). After installing the
firmware upgrade, rerun the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard
and try to configure the device.
