Thanks for your post and thank our MVP's answer.
As I understand the problem is: the command "net use x:
\\servername\sharename\subfolder" cannot be run on the Windows NT4 client
machines. This is by design. Just as SuperGumby has mentioned, Windows NT4
client does not support this type of deep-level net use command.
To work around this, we can use these commands in the logon script:
NET USE X: \\MYSERVER\USERS
SUBST U: X:\%USERNAME%
Meanwhile, it is important to understand that SBS may not provide the best
support on Windows 95, Windows 98, and NT4 clients, so I would like to
suggest that you upgrade your NT4 clients to the XP or win 2000 system.
