That's correct. Using it internally will work though.

I already ran that wizard with the external IP as the web certificate. As I
said above - it works internally.

Is it vital to forward ports 80 and 443 ? Since it's a shared network, all
servers at the tower use the same external IP and that's why I need a port
(4125) to point to *my* server's internal IP.
I'm not sure my ISP will agree to dedicate ports 80 and 443 only for *me*.
Please let me know if I'm wrong.

Not using the port will result in a username/password box for the router
itself. Not my RWW. I must use a port to point to my server.
Can I use a port like this in IE ?

P.S. My ISP forwarded port 3389 to my server and now I can use Remote
Desktop connection with <external_IP>:3389
