I have many systems running on the domain currently. However, if I
understand your remark correctly, these new systems that I'm trying to run
the Connect Computer Wizard on are not domain members. They're set to the
default Workgroup peer function.

There are no evernt log messages in relation to the problem. And the wizard
simply ends after the last setup page, "Completing the Network Configuration
Wixard". It gets the following address:
http://servername/connectcomputer/errorrun.htm
The message on the page is, "An error occured when configuring networking
settings. See your network administrator."

Yes, it is in the list, and during the wizard, I am able to select the
computer name.

Are you asking me to manually join the computer to the domain to do this?

I did this the very first thing and made sure there were no other DNS
entries.
