RE: Server Down, Need Help

I was wondering if your previous setup was connected like: Modem <crossover cable> Router <straight-thru cable> Server and whether you're now using an incorrect cable from Modem > Server?

The modem has both a wired port and wireless access. The server is
hooked to the wired port and can't access the internet, but I can
access the internet using the wireless from another computer. Also if
I plug the modem into a different computer I am able to access the
internet.

Can you telnet or browse to the ip of the DSL modem?

No, I cannot get past the DSL modem but I can ping to it. My modem
uses PPPoA. Everything was working just fine until the router I
had inbetween my modem and server crapped out.

My setup was as follows: SBS 2003 Standard, No ISA, two nics.
DSL Modem with static ip address, to router and then to server.
My problem is that my router in between my server and DSL modem
crapped out on me and I am trying to get my server back on line
without a router inbetween. I have run CEICW following the
directions found on smallbizserver.net but have been unable to
get the server to access the internet. The LAN seems to be
working just fine with the exception all of the workstation
can't access the internet either. The internet connection is
running as well. Any help with this issue would be greatly
appreciated!!! Here is my ipconfig
