Re: SBS 2K3 Backup to External USB Hard Drive

Hi SG,

Na, I'm not looking to do RAID1 at all. I want to do VSS to the 2nd SCSI
drive and to carry out full backups to the external USB drive [or a tape
backup unit if that proves viable - I'll be calling Dell in the morning
about that]. I'm also aware that you don't *need* the same capacity to use
VSS but I'd like to budget for having the option to change things around
further down the line [like to go with disk mirroring instead] if we
need/want to...

Note to self - must learn to stop posting so late at night when I'm tired
and unclear!

Thanks for the pointer ref the larger TBU from Dell. Appreciated.

Cheers,

David
