Hi SG,
Na, I'm not looking to do RAID1 at all. I want to do VSS to the 2nd SCSI
drive and to carry out full backups to the external USB drive [or a tape
backup unit if that proves viable - I'll be calling Dell in the morning
about that]. I'm also aware that you don't *need* the same capacity to use
VSS but I'd like to budget for having the option to change things around
further down the line [like to go with disk mirroring instead] if we
need/want to...
Note to self - must learn to stop posting so late at night when I'm tired
and unclear!
