vpn help

Hello,

i'm trying to connect to my vpn server, but i'm getting this error:

"the connection was terminated by the remote computer before it could be
completed. for further assistance, click more info or seach help and suport
center for this error number . (error 628)"

what does it mean ? plz help me troubleshooting this error.

by the way vpn works fine if the client is connected directly to the server
through LAN, but it's not working from the internet.
