Hi,
Thanks for your post.
>From the description, I understand that your issue is that you cannot
connect to the Small Business Server 2003 computer from either Microsoft
Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express using the POP3. If I have
misunderstood your issue, please let me know.
Before we start, please help me collect the following information:
1. Make sure that the Default POP3 virtual server in the ESM has been
started. Right click on the Default POP3 virtual server, select property,
make sure that the IP address which the server listen to is "all
unassigned". Then click Advance button, make sure that is an entry with SSL
port 995.
2. Can you connect the POP3 by outlook express on the SBS server?
3. What is the exact error message when you fail to connect?
4. Are there any event logs related to this issue?
If there is anything else that I can do for you, please feel free to
contact me, and I will be happy to help!
Best regards,
Jerry Zhao (MSFT)
