RE: Remote Web Workplace with Windows authentication instead-of form?

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for your posting.

>From your description, I noticed that you would like to use "window
authentication" for RWW. I am not sure if you wanted to be able to logon to
RWW automatically without fill in the username and password. If this is the
case, you may have to modify the ASP pages. If you have questions regarding
modify the ASP pages, you may need to contact phone support.

If it is not your case and you just want to use integrated window
authentication for RWW, I would like provide the following action plan:

NOTE
It is still using the form based authentication. That is a by designed
feature and we can not change it based on my knowledge.

1. On the SBS 2003 server, click Start->Run, type "inetmgr.exe" (without
the quotation marks) and click OK to open the IIS Manager.

2. Expand the Default Web Site, right click the "Remote" Virtual Directory
and choose Properties.

3. Click the "Directory Security" tab.

4. In the "Authentication and access control" section, click the Edit
button.

5. Make sure only the following boxes are checked:

Enable anonymous access (IUSER_<ServerName>)

Integrated Windows authentication

6. Click OK.

7. Click Start->Run, type "iisreset" (without the quotation marks) and
click OK. Then check if RWW works.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know.
It's my pleasure to be of assistance.

Best regards,
