RE: Faulting application ntbackup.exe version 5.2.3790.70



Hi Bill,

I think we have isolated the problem. Its seems that one of the network
shares lets say the mapped drive O:\ is the job that fails all the time. Even
if I start the job manually it fails after a very shoort time.

The job in question is incremental and is set to replace the current file.
The job is also schduled for Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs @ 2:01am, and a seperated
job for a full backup on Friday.

Also note the server (sbs2003) which is running the ntbackup.exe program is
not the server which the data is stored. The other server (w2k server) has
both shares user (4.7GB) and company (1.02GB). I have also set the regional
time and date on both servers as (English (irish)) as they where set with
different regional settings. Note this has not improved things.

Below is the error in the event log, also the data that fails to backup is
the users share;
