Re: Dell 2850 issue - (new problem)



I rang Dell sales today re. this. Their explanation (a salesguy I have known
for a while who spoke to the server team) said "SBS is not supplied for rack
servers as rack servers are sold to multi server environments and SBS is not
used in these setups."

Well, ok, so much for their knowledge of SBS but I see their basic point
even though its lame. Dell have to supply SBS as a licence and media rather
than a bundled product if you want it with a rack server - he said he would
do that if I wanted.
