Yes, I used the Mailbox recovery feature by dismounting mailbox- & public
stores. Then created recovery storage group and added database to recover.
Then by using NTBackup I selected the public store only (without log files &
'Last Restore Set' option checked) and start the restore procedure.
NTBackup Restore ends with the following report:
Restore Status
Operation: Restore
Backup of "SBS2003\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group",
Restored to"SBS2003\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group"
Backup set #1 on media #1
Backup description: "Set created 30/03/2005 at 20:18"
Restore started on 30/03/2005 at 20:33.
Unable to restore Exchange data to SBS2003\Microsoft Information Store\First
Storage Group,
check the application event log for more information
Restore completed on 30/03/2005 at 20:33.
