i will put the option back i was just clutching at straws
yes the system has a floppy (internal) and i do have the dell server cd's
its a mew server ordered it 2 weeks ago.
I have tried installing with just 1 hard drive as well as all 3 in a raid
same result
Could anyone that sucessfully installs on the perc 4e/di raid let me know
what driver version they are using or if they use the defualt windows drives
and if they do anything else all i am doing is:
Make raid
Boot to sbs CD1
i use the default windows drivers as the newest raid drivers from dell
website do not allow me to copy any files to the hard drive after the
format.
go through sbs setup formating the hard drive with a 30gig boot partition
(NTSF) then setup copies files and it reboots and the install asks about
keyboard and languages cd key pc name password etc, it then installs network
but im not asked to fill in any details it then makes the start menu and
finishies the install and then reboots.
Once it reboots the black SBS loading screen appears for 2-3 seconds and
then it will just reboot and it does this constantly.
