RE: Off-topic - client requests do invoices on PDA and upload into SAGE on SBS2003

Hi John,

Thank you for posting here.

To use your PDA to connect to your SBS Server via VPN and accessing e-mails, I recommend you to use Pocket PCs.

Pocket PC Home Page
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/pocketpc/ppc/default.mspx

To connect your Pocket PC to your SBS domain via VPN and use Remote Desktop or Terminal Services, please refer to the following KB:
How to use a Handheld PC or a Pocket PC as a Mobile Terminal
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314537

In addition, on the Pocket PC, you can also access the Outlook Mobile Access. To do so, simply go to http://YourSBSPublicDomainName/oma.

On your SBS Server, you must run the CEICW properly. Please follow these steps:

1. Open Server Management/To Do List.
2. Click Connect to the Internet.
3. Configure your network connection.
4. Choose Enable Firewall.
5. On the Services Configuration page, make sure that you've select Virtual Private Networking (VPN) and Terminal Services. You can also enable
or add other services.
6. On the Web Services Configuration page, please make sure that you're selected Outlook Web Access and Outlook Mobile Access. You can also
enable other web sites.
7. On the Web Server Certificate page, choose "Create a new web server certificate" and key in your external domain name.
8. On the Internet e-mail page, select Enable Internet e-mail.
9. If your ISP provides Smart Host, please choose "Forward all e-mail to e-mail server at your ISP" and key in your ISP's IP address or domain
name. Otherwise, please choose "Use DNS to route e-mail".
10. On the E-mail domain name page, please key in your e-mail domain name.
11. Finish the wizard.

I hope the above info helps.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to let me know.
