Hi Bryan,
Thank you for your posting.
In order to allow a remote desktop connection to a client computer through
Remote Web Workplace, a component called TS Proxy is used to forward TS
requests through a firewall on TCP port 4125, in essence keeping the
connection alive. Once the connection is established on port 4125, the
traffic is then redirected to another dynamically allocated port. All
subsequence traffic will flow through the new port at the server to the
client at port 3389.
Basically, if you run CEICW (Server Management '' Standard Management '' To
Do List '' Connect to the Internet) and choose to publish RWW, the TCP port
4125 will automatically be opened at RRAS (in Standard) and at ISA (in
Premium). However, you still need to verify TCP port 4125 is open at your
hardware router or firewall.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know.
It's my pleasure to be of assistance.
Best regards,
Jerry Zhao (MSFT)
