1. No logs.

2. This is a Lexmark Optra 1200 printer connected on LPT1 with Lexmark Optra
Color 1200 as the name.

3. The copy is the exact same but the name is different, it is Lexmark Optra
Color 1200(MS), using the same drivers.

4. There is no software or startup scripts in the startup menu.

5. No logon scripts are setup to auto connect printers.

I have this issue with all Windows XP/2003 computers. Windows auto detects
the printers (local and shared network) and installs them. Is there a way to
shut this feature off in Windows?
I do not want Windows to detect any local or network printers. I want to
control what printers are setup on the workstations.

This may not really be the proper place for this post because I have this
issue with Windows XP workstations also.
